Wander Systems

Professional care facilities are charged with providing responsible care while giving their patients and residents the best quality of life possible. These facilities are often open door centers, allowing guests to visit their loved ones. Some residents, however, must remain in the building to ensure their own safety. Since staff members cannot be everywhere at once, patient wandering systems give staff the flexibility to attend to multiple residents.

Our patient wandering systems are designed for vulnerable individuals or persons with dementia to live and move about a facility. We offer systems using a light-weight bracelet with integration into concealed sensors in doors or hallway. If a resident wearing a tag approaches an alarmed area, the system may physically lock the door. It also automatically notifies the staff through nurse station annunciators or connection into a nurse paging system.
